Hey everyone!
It's been a while, I wanted to make a check-in post to celebrate the success of the game and show my appreciation to you all for it!
Lyca released exactly 4 months ago on April 7, and I made the game alone in about 4 months (mostly part-time). I never expected the game to resonate so much with people, but over 28,000 people have bought the game as of today, which is far beyond my expectations! I'm really humbled by all of the support and feedback I've gotten, and will definitely use it to make more (and better) games! :)
I plan on having a dev-log and a post-mortem on my newsletter about Lyca soon as well, so if you'd be interested in reading about how I made the game and the journey through launch and post-launch, stay tuned to the newsletter at syphono4.com!
In order to celebrate the many milestones of Lyca since release, we're doing a bunch of things!:
Starting today, Lyca will be part of the Wholesome Games Celebration 2025 on Steam, that you can find here: https://store.steampowered.com/sale/wholesomegames
Lyca is also part of the East Asia Indie Games Celebration, which will go until August 19!: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45543967/sale/EastAsiaIndieGames
If you're an incremental games fan, check out the new bundles with Keep On Mining! and Astro Prospector, 2 amazing games that released recently:

Lastly, I wanted to highlight a couple of games that might be of interest to you all:
First, I recently announced my next game, Hear The Bell Toll! It's a roguelike city-building game and I'm aiming to deliver the same kind of dopamine hits from that game as I did with Lyca! You can wishlist it here:

Finally, my friend and developer of Minutescape (another awesome incremental) has announced a new mining+automation game, Chipmatic! Please wishlist it here:

I wanted to thank you all again for the overwhelming support, feedback and for just being awesome. It helps me keep making more games for you all and keep growing as a dev :)
Alright folks, that's all for now!
Talk to you all later,
- Shaun (dev)

Pretty disappointing that you're not updating Lyca to add more content. The game feels very half-finished and from the last update, it seemed like you were going to fix some critical issues and expand on it.
